Working with Interchange Managers we offer a new outsource support service of brokering, arranging and managing secondments. We deliver focused placements with major “bring back benefits” to your department.
This MA service is the new easy access route to secondments and interchange and is open to Interchange Managers, Colleagues, Employers, Employees and HR professionals, or any organisation who wish to be involved in this exciting and innovative approach to Training and Development.

Inward and Outward Secondments (Interchanges) can import and develop specific /specialist skills, know how, experience new cultures.

Using an external broker such as McKenzie Associates, who having national coverage, and are experienced with Interchange. MA operates a time focused approach in the brokering, managing and supporting secondees- this can produce cost saving benefits to you in your role as an Interchange Manager.

Working as Cross Sector Consultants MA provide an experienced approach to your departments need’s - by generating Inward Secondments and placing Outward Secondees to achieve Personal, Cultural and Technical Expertise.(see our case studies)

As specialist secondment brokers we can assist you deliver your SCS 75/65 2005 Targets by brokering appropriate Private, Public and “Not for Profit” secondment placements. Additionally we can develop your strategy/ policy / position in relation to how these targets are to be met. We undertake one to one assessments, provide mentor support and / or manage secondees in their secondments nationally and internationally (providing video case studies for internal communication purposes).

The following targets have been agreed for the Corporate Civil Service

  • 75% of the SCS to have experience outside their parent department by the year 2005
  • 65% of the SCS to have experience outside Whitehall by 2005
